KVTC Graduation Ceremony 2023

KVTC Celebrates a New Wave of Graduates at the Annual Graduation Ceremony 2023 at the Greenwich University.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Murad Ali Shah, the Former Chief Minister of Sindh, who served as the distinguished Chief Guest.

The KVTC Graduation Ceremony was a momentous occasion, marking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance for the graduating students. We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership that promises to uplift and empower the differently abled individuals in our society! 💪🌈 KVTC (Karachi Vocational Training Centre) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bahria University, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey towards creating a more inclusive world. 🤝❤️

Director General BUKC Vice Admiral (Retd) Khawaja Ghazanfar Hussain(M), Dean Director IPP Dr. Zainab Hussain Bhutto, Head of Department IPP Dr. Kiran Bashir Ahmad, Ms. Sara Shabbir (Clinical Incharge BU, Ms. Rabia Muzaffar (Clinical Incharge BUKC) were among the officials who joined us at the MoU signing. They were also given a detailed tour of the Centre.

With a shared vision to champion the rights and potential of every individual, this collaboration aims to further the efforts for the betterment of the differently abled community. “Team Pakistan is Team KVTC”

Team Pakistan was extended a gracious invitation to the esteemed Pakistan Embassy in Japan Pakistan Embassy Japan. His Excellency Mr. Raza Bashir Tarar, the esteemed Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan, warmly received the team and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations on their remarkable victory.

The meeting was a momentous occasion, underscoring the exceptional achievements of Team Pakistan and the admiration it has garnered for its outstanding performance at the 19th WATA Open Taekwondo Championship in Japan.

Team KVTC of 6 super-talented students became Team Pakistan and won 5 Gold medals, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal at the WATA Taekwondo Championship in Japan. The Ambassador’s gracious gesture served as a testament to the team’s dedication, talent, and unwavering commitment to excellence, and further bolstered their motivation to continue their pursuit of making Pakistan proud.

All SINDH Para Taekwondo Championship 2023

KVTC champs strike again!🎊👏💐

At the recent All SINDH Para Taekwondo Championship 2023, which took place on August 19, 2023, the students from KVTC exhibited their exceptional abilities and talents. They pitted their skills against various Taekwondo (TKD) club teams hailing from Sindh, including Sukkur Para TKD, Khairpur Para TKD, Mirpurkhas Para TKD, and Hyderabad Para TKD.

We are overjoyed to share the news that our students put on an outstanding performance, and we want to convey our heartfelt felicitations to the entire administration, faculty, and parents for their unwavering encouragement.

A remarkable accomplishment has been achieved by a total of 19 KVTC students, who have clinched an impressive tally of 21 medals:

KVTC and Greenwich University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 22nd January 2023 which formalized a mutually beneficial partnership between the two organizations. The purpose of the MOU is to establish friendly relations, sharing of knowledge, sharing of expertise, media partnerships, and to identify areas of cooperation that could help foster and develop the relationship.

Empowering Meetup 2022

Karachi Vocational Training Centre in collaboration with HR Networking Forum and Human Capital HR Solutions organized an ‘Empowering Meetup’.

A Corporate Meetup was held at the Centre to introduce the organisation’s work to the corporates who attended the event. Director Administration Farheen Amir, Director Rehabilitation Amir Shahab, and Principal of KVTC Sana Ayaz briefed the heads of hr and marketing from corporate sectors on the different aspects of the free-of-cost rehabilitation services KVTC provides to the ‘differently abled’, a part of the society that often gets neglected.

CEO of KVTC Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan, Joint Secretary Dr. Farhan Essa, and GB Member Mr. Khalid Mir also addressed the guests.

We are so grateful to all the guests for taking the time and energy to invest in our vision and in our event. First Ever Graduation Ceremony for the Specially-Abled in Pakistan

CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah Endorses the First Graduation Ceremony for the Specially Abled in Pakistan held by KVTC

KVTC achieves another milestone, holds the first graduation ceremony of their specially abled students at Unilever Head Office, Avari Tower, Karachi.

The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah reached as the chief guest and distributed the medals & certificates to the Differently Abled Graduates of KVTC. CM Sindh congrats the entire team of KVTC and stated that “Govt. of Sindh hereby stands with KVTC to realize their Vision 2030 to enable at least 5000 Differently Abled people of Sindh.”

The event was attended by a number of political and social personalities including Special Assistant to CM Sindh on DEPD Mr. Sadiq Ali Memon, Deputy Commissioner South, Karachi Mr. Irshad Ali Soodhar, Mr. Salman A. Siddiqui from SSGC, Mr. Ahmed Shah, and Mr. Nadeem Khan & Mr. Omer Khan from Brookes Pharma and others were present. Mr. Sadiq Ali Memon ensures his department’s and Sindh government’s full support for the accomplishment of the institute’s future goals.

The guests were welcomed by the members of the Management Committee of KVTC including Principal Ms. Sana Ayaz, Director Rehabilitation Mr. Amir Shahab, and Director Administration Ms. Farheen Amir, Ms. Sabeen Waqar, Family Relations Manager, Mr. Imran Sohail, Curriculum Manager, Ms. Bushra Mir, Creative Consultant, and Ms. Aleena Fatima Exec. Manager HR.

The talented children of KVTC also gave mesmerizing performances which were well received by the guests.

CEO of KVTC Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan and President KVTC Dr. Akhter Aziz along with Vice President Mr. Qaiser Alam, and the general body members of KVTC including Chairman Unilever Mr. Amir Rasool Paracha, and Mr. Khalid Mir, and others were also present to encourage the children who received certificates. 

While giving opening speech Vice President KVTC Mr. Qaysar Alam said, “This is the first-ever special needs institute to hold a graduation ceremony for special children in Pakistan.”

Addressing the function, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan said, “Today is a very important day for our children and for us. Today’s event is the result of the dedication of these children and the hard work of our teachers and trainers. I would like to thank all the friends and well-wishers of KVTC for attending the event and encouraging us.”

CEO Unilever Mr. Amir Paracha urge the corporate sector to step forward to the great cause of KVTC and said, “It was a soulful event that KVTC has successfully organized and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
