Textile Skills

The workplace environment in Pakistan still faces significant challenges in accessibility for individuals with physical disabilities. Many employers hesitate to hire intellectually challenged individuals due to perceptions of limited capabilities, creating formidable barriers to employment. Despite this, Textile Skills Kvtc has achieved remarkable success in this regard. We aim to further empower intellectually challenged individuals by establishing small to medium enterprises, utilizing skills learned at the Centre. This initiative will enable them to manufacture and market their own products, fostering greater employment opportunities and inclusivity.

Machine Embroidery

We teach them according to the customized curriculum, using easy to difficult teaching techniques and modified equipment and tools. Handling machine , Making designs, Making patterns, Embroidery on different designs, Colorful and unique embroidery work, Finishing designs, Cushions, bed linen, other domestic items & hand bags

Zari Work

Zari work involves a hook, plied from the top but fed by silk thread from below with the material spread out on a frame. We teach them according to the customized curriculum, using easy to difficult teaching techniques and modified equipment and tools.

Tailoring

This method enables the tailor to take professional measurements, assess posture and body shape to make unique modifications to the garment. We teach them according to the customized curriculum, using easy to difficult teaching techniques and modified equipment and tools.

Block Printing

Block printing is one of the oldest types of printmaking. The blocks used in this type of printing are pieces of carved wood or copper plates with movable studs. Screen Printing

Screen printing is arguably the most versatile of all printing processes. It can be used to print on a wide variety of substrates, including paper, paperboard, plastics, glass, metals, fabrics, and many other materials.
