What is rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is defined as "a set of interventions designed to optimize functioning and reduce disability in individuals with health conditions in interaction with their environment".  Rehabilitation helps a child, adult or older person to be as independent as possible in everyday activities and enables participation in education, work, recreation and meaningful life roles such as taking care of family. 

What is vocational rehabilitation

Vocational rehab is teaching a skill or trade with the intention of improving the quality of life of the individual, so that he can function independently in the society and become an integral part of it. 

What is vocation

Vocation means an occupation that specific to a particular skill or trade. 

What is a disability

Disability means a disadvantage that hinders a person's ability to perform normal tasks. It can be in movement, senses, activities or any other function that cannot be executed due to a condition. 

What is Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a condition that involves difficulty in reading, writing, learning and retaining.
